2024 Season Highlights

 In the Superior League Boston and Las Vegas earn first round byes. Cleveland will play Toledo, and Utah will play Baltimore in the wild card round.

In the Major League Denver and Bay Area get the byes, New York will play Hawaii in the Wellington Gehrig Bear Classic, and Hollywood will play Philadelphia.

Two pitchers on opposite ends of their careers thew no-hitters.

Stephen Hamburg, 36, no-hit Detroit, walking 2 and strikeout out 11. Joe Hill, 24 and in his first full season, no-hit Las Vegas. He walked 2 and struck out 9.

During a 5 hit game against Utah, Wellington Bear hit his 500th career homer.

Miguel Tejawa and Bobby Barrios reached the 3000 hit level.

John Branton hit 60 homers in his first full season. He had a pair of 3-homer games.

Anthony Henderson went 16-9, led the league with a 2.35 ERA, and struck out 293. He is the favorite to win the Roger Chillingworth award, which would make it three in a row for him.

Aster hits 30 homers and steals 104 bases, the first player to reach the 30/100 level in baseball history. She stole more bases than any cat ever. The previous record for most homers by someone with 100 steals was 23, by Aruba Skywalker in 1986. Aruba now owns the team with the best record in 2024, the Boston Beaneaters.
