2013 Superior League Cy Young Award

In what should as no surprise, Las Vegas' Joe Callahan won the Cy Young award.  In a mild surprise, he did not win so unanimously.  Callahan collected 5 out of the 6 first place votes cast, and finally delivered the all around dominant season many had predicted only he could deliver.  Callahan went 20-8, with a 2.38 ERA, 238 IP, 184 hits, 61 BB, and 263 K's.  He also made all 33 starts, completed 8 of them, and threw an eye-popping 5 shutouts.  Complete voting as follows:

1.  Joe Callahan (5) 26 points
2.  Tommy Vercetti (1) 14 points
3.  Jared DeMario 6 points
4.  Steve Kepler 4 points
5.  Justin Stamler 3 points
6.  Elvis Rodriguez 1 point

It took him a while, but Joe has proven himself to be a winner. A few more winners on the staff and Vegas will be dangerous.
