2013 Superior League Rookie of the Year
In the Superior League, lefty reliever Jesus Soto from Baltimore captured top freshman honors. Soto had an impressive debut, going 12-2 with a 2.45 ERA in 69 innings of relief. Although Jesus only had 1 save, his performance helped Baltimore to 94 wins and a playoff spot. Jesus edged out his teammate, Josh Adams, in a close vote. Although Adams pitched 195 innings with a 3.31 ERA, he was only able to compile a 12-9 record.
