Charlotte vs New York game 2

Charlotte scores 4 early runs off Doug Lefevre, while Mike Langford shuts down the New York offense for 6.1 innings, allowing only a Conan homerun.

In the 9th, Charlotte still leads 4-1 as Heathcliff George comes in for the save. Jose Encarnacion singles, and Mahatma Russell follows with a 2 run homer. Back to back doubles by Ramos and Gwosdz tie the game at 4.

The game goes to extra innings, and Conan gives NY a lead with his second homer of the game. Troy Everett sets Charlotte down 1-2-3 for the save. Joe Dirte gets the win, pitching 4 2/3 perfect innings in relief, striking out 5.
