New York at Detroit Game 4

Detroit jumped on Jaret Benser, rocking him for 3 in the bottom of the first. Later in the 3rd, Delos Vanderberg hit a two out 2 run homer to make it 5-0. This looked to be in the bag with Detroit pitching ace Larry Reynolds on short rest...but...with 1 out and 2 on, Chad White connected for a three run homer. Then Keith Lee reached on an infiled single, Brett Solo tripled, and Jackie Garrison tied the game with a sacrifice fly. In the 6th, the Cobra scored 2 more on a Manfred Mueller double, and Brett Solo single. In the bottom of the inning with 2 out, the Devils staged a two out rally scoring 2 times on a BJ Lewis single and Tim Griffin throwing error. In the 8th inning, New York scores three more runs on a Manfred Mueller solo HR, and Brett Solo 2 run homer. Freddie Benitez records the final 4 outs to give New York the 10-7 win , and tie the series at 2 games apiece.
