Sluggers Win Again
The Sluggers beat Texas 4-1 to win their 7th in a row. Texas has lost 4 in a row and the Sluggers move past them for the wild card lead. Jason Foster extended his hitting streak to 18 games, and Chad Anderson recorded his 36th save.
The worst news for Texas is that young lefthander Mike Cottrell left the game with discomfort in his elbow. He will undergoe tests, and its possible that he will not pitch again this season.
