Bob Belardi (K-Bob) takes the mound looking for his 35th save, but immediately gives up a single to Joe Young. Young surprises Miami with a steal of second, Joe's 3rd in 3 attempts. The reigning MVP is a very smart baserunner.

After Cesar Ramos strikes out, Mike Reed singles, putting runners at the corners. Dan Blackwell then lifts a high fly to right. Favre had to go back on it, then unleash a hail mary to the plate, and gets it there just in time to throw out Young. The Stars hold on to give them a 3.5 game lead of Louisville, and 6 over Baltimore.
