2014 Rookie of the Year

In a close vote, Boston 2B Jorge Cendejas wins the SL rookie of the year.  He hit .299 with a .373 OBP, and showed some pop with 9 homers and 74 RBI.

David Jackson, acquired in the Ricky Buckley trade, didn't have a regular job with New York but played all around the field and put up some impressive numbers.

In 113 games, Jackson hit .256, hit 21 homers (3rd most on team), and stole 47 bases.  He might be the team's next shortstop if Brett Solo leaves as a free agent.
