Today, Roger Chillingworth takes the mound for his first start as a Louisville Slugger. We at The Herman are here to bring you complete, up to the minute coverage of Roger's day. So, here it is:
8:30 AM Roger wakes up
8:45 AM Roger's wife fixes him 4 eggs, sunny-side up, pancakes, and a protein shake mixed with Vitamin D milk.
9:30 AM Roger takes a dump.
10:00 AM Roger arrives at the ballpark
10:10 AM Roger brushes off interview attempt, uses ethnic slur "Fat Yoda".
10:45 AM Roger throws in the bullpen. 65 pitches, 47 strikes.
11:00 AM Roger meets with Willie Gomez, his catcher, and Ernie Klawitter, pitching coach, to discuss strategies against the Martian hitters.
12:00 noon: Roger gets a turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread, with onions, tomatoes, and ranch dressing. A bottle of gatorade to drink, he passes on the french fries.
12:30 PM Roger heads to the bullpen to warm up for the game.
1:05 PM First pitch, to Mike Garciajawa, taken for a strike.

Sluggers up 1-0
Quilvio Gato singles with bases loaded, 3-0 sluggers.
Top 3rd, Jose Moreno reaches on E-6.
1 out later Garciajawa goes deep. Slugger lead cut to 3-2.
Tugwell whiffs to end the top third.
Sluggers no runs in bottom 3rd.
Ramirez out to start 4th, Cruz singles. Eller flyout to CF. Moreno whiffs.
Through 4, Roger has allowed 3 hits, 1 walk, 4K, 2 runs, one earned.
Sluggers no runs in bottom 4th.
Sade whiffs. Garciajawa doubles. Thrown out stealing 3rd. Davis whiffs.
Bottom 5: Glover single drives in Gato,4-2 Sluggers.
Top 6: Johnson out 4-3. Tugwell homers to left center. Ramirez walks. Cruz whiffs. Eller hit by pitch. Moreno walks to load the bases. Manager goes to visit the mound.
Bases loaded for Sade, Roger still in. Driven DEEP to right. To the wall, Alfonzo makes the catch to end the inning.
Looks like this is it for Roger, he pitched 6 innings, he's got ice on his arm in the dugout. Rick Cooper is warming in the Slugger pen.
Bottom 6, 2 out, double by Gato drives in Davis, lead is now 5-3.
Top 7, still 5-3, Rick Cooper replaces Chillingworth. The righthander has a 2.95 ERA in 42 innings of relief.
Cooper allows an RBI double to Tugwell but escapes with a 5-4 lead.
RBI double by Gomez, 6-4 Sluggers.
Top 8th, Cooper still in.
1-2-3 inning as we head to the bottom 8th.
Sluggers don't add any runs. Top of the 9th, 6-4, and the closer Chad Anderson makes his entrance.
Looking for his 8th save, has a 5.40 ERA in 13 innings, facing Sade.
STRIKE 3! Back to the top of the lineup, Garciajawa followed by Davis.
Flyout, RF.
Down to the final out. Slugger fans on their feet.
