SLCS: Cleveland wins

 Game 5:

Spiders blew out the Sluggers 16 to 1, collecting 25 hits in the game. Walt Carson started and gave up 7 runs in 3 innings. The bullpen wasn't much better until the 9th inning when Kal Chillingworth made the first pitching appearance of his career and threw a scoreless inning.

Malcolm Thomas and Otto Stevens had 4 hits each, Troy Wyckoff homered twice and knocked in 4 runs. Drew Tobin pitched 6 innings for the win.

Game 6:

Having lost their best 2 starters to injury, Louisville was forced to turn to Andy Davis, who only made 7 regular season starts, in an elimination game. Davis gave up homers to Chris Hamilton and Malcolm Thomas but kept his team in the game, giving up no more runs in 3 innings and leaving just down 2-1. Troy Wyckoff's RBI single in the 6th made it 3-1 Cleveland. Still 3-1 in the bottom of the 8th, Sluggers went to their closer Ricardo Osuna to try and keep it close. Osuna got the first 2 outs around 2 singles, but then lost the strike zone and walked 3 straight hitters, forcing in 2 runs before striking out Stevens to end the inning.

In the 9th, 3 Louisville doubles brought in 2 runs, and the Sluggers put the tying run on base for oliver Brooks. Ernesto Lopez was able to get the strikeout, and send Cleveland to their first ever world series.
