SLDS Miami vs Texas

Game 1:  Miami takes a 3-0 lead and Jered DeMario has a shutout into the 7th.  Manny Ortez hits a 2 run homer to make it close, but Jon Mexico strikes out 4 of the 5 batters he faces to hold Texas, and Dwight Schrute pitches a scoreless 9th for the save.

Game 2: Texas scores 5 off Tom Vercetti in the 3rd to take a 5-1 lead, but Miami gets 4 back in the bottom of the inning and 3 in the 4th.  Texas scores 2 in the 6th, Miami gets one back, and in the 7th Justin Headley crushes his second homer of the game to tie the game at 9.  In the 9th, Manny Ortez homers to give Texas the lead.  Miami gets nothing in the bottom of the inning off Jared Pollard, and the series is tied at one.

Game 3: Texas takes a 6-2 lead to the 7th.  Miami scores 2 in the 7th on a wild pitch and a 2 out infield single.  In the 8th, Joe Young doubles and Billy Bass homers to tie things up, his second of the game.  One out later, rookie Devan Arceneaux crushes a 406 feet bomb to take the lead.  Schrute strands Manny Ortez to collect another save.

Game 4: A balanced Miami attack gives Steve Harriman room to work, and the young pitcher allows only one run in 5.1 innings.  The bullpen avoids trouble, and Schrute is able to hold on for a 5-2 win.
