Superior league wild card

Game 1: Boston wins 5-3 over Texas.  Clay Buttholz goes 7 innings with 10 strikeouts.  Alex Williams homers, scores 2, and knocks in 2.

Game 2: Boston takes a 4-3 lead to the 9th.  R.D. Phillips goes 8 innings, allowing 3 runs while striking out 7, Williams homers again, and Mark Johnson homers and knocks in 3.  In the bottom 9th John Gross walks Chad Horlacher, and then walks Justin Headley after an 8 pitch battle.  Angel Rodriguez moves the runners up with a groundout, and Zeke Sanchez ties it up with a sac fly.

The game goes into extra innings.  In the 12th Rickey Buckley hits a 2 out triple, and Darnell "Crabman" Turner ends it with a walk off hit.

Game 3:  Boston was so close in game 2, but never in game 3.  The final score is 11-1 as 5 Texas players have multi hit games.  Mike McConnell gets the win with 5.1 innings, allowing only an unearned run.

Texas will play Miami next.
