Brooks Traded

Bryan Brooks, fresh off a World Series win in Miami, is headed to Hawaii to join Eddie Bird's Hounddogs. The Stars will receive veteran pitcher John Upshaw, and save 6.8 million dollars in the exchange.

Brooks was 11-12 and struck out 186 batters last season. He has a career record of 196-176.

In order to make the trade work financially, Kana Wake agreed to restructure his recent free agent contract.
