Mark Crawford to Sign with Denver Rabbits

Mark Crawford is leaving Texas, and will sign a 10 year contract for 300 million dollars with the Denver Rabbits. Crawford, 31, hit .323 last season with 39 homeruns, 137 RBI, scored 136 runs, and stole 37 bases. He finished 2nd in the MVP voting to Joe Young. After being swept in the World Series by the Miami Stars, the Big Cheese apparently decided to pull out all the stops to get his Rabbits back to the World Series. When asked if he'll regret paying 30 million per year to Crawford when he's 40, Big Cheese replied "I'm 77 years old. If I'm still around at the end of this contract, I'll be happy no matter what."

Makes Don Law's contract look like a bargain.
