Utes Take the West

With a 5-4 win over Mars, combined with Texas losing 2-1 to Las Vegas, the Utes clinch the Superior League West. Tom Groovine (16-8) gets the victory, and Ryan Ballard hit his 30th homerun.

Baltimore beat Miami on a Dave Cronin extra inning homer, while New York lost in Boston, which clinches at least a tie for Baltimore in the East. New York still holds a 1 game lead over Mars and Texas for the wild card. Everyone else is just playing out the schedule.
