3000 Hits

On May 22nd, in a meaningless game between two terrible teams, Dee Sanders led off against Cleveland's Jack Banks with a single. It was the 3000th hit of his career, which was last useful about 5 years ago. Like Craig Biggio, Sanders has hung around to get this shiny round number, and now he has it. Perhaps he can retire after the season. Sanders is hitting .221.

You know what? You are a fat yoda! You should be banned from ever writing about baseball again. How dare you disparage this fine accomplishment. Dee is a future hall of famer and you should be ashamed of yourself. Not only should you be banned, your fingers should be removed to prevent you from ever writing another word again. You sicken me and everyone else around.
