2017 World Series games 1-2

Manny Ortez hit a solo homer off Stephen Hamburg in the third to start the scoring.  Texas added 2 more in the 5th on Dave Masterman's homer.  Jared Pollard held NY to one run over 6 2/3 innings, striking out 9, and Texas held on for a 4-1 win.

Game 2: New York scored twice in the third inning and 5 times in the 4th en route to an 11-1 victory.  Jason Curry gave up 7 runs in the loss, while Silvanos Tonka allowed one unearned run in 7 innings for the win.  New York had 6 homeruns in the game, with Chris Gruber, David Jackson, Chad White, Ron Moon, Jeff Bowman, and Wellington Bear all joining the long ball party.
