Trade

Utah trades catcher Ken Valle to Boston for shortstop Elvis Espinoza.  With injuries to both Chad Richardson and Alberto Mitre, Utah needed somebody to play the position.  General manager Lou Zamuda briefly considered filling the position by coming out of retirement.
