First Big Trade of 2011

Hawaii acquired Justin Zoolander from Orlando today. The 27 year old Zoolander, who can maintain a 100 MPH fastball into the 9th inning, was 3-2 through 10 starts, with a 4.65 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 62 innings. He is arbitration eligible for one more season.

Orlando picks up Floyd Brennan, a 25 year old starter with 2 arbitration years left after 2011, and minor league outfielder L.J. Burroughs, a polished hitter who some compare to Jason Foster. Brennan was 2-5 with a 5.28 ERA through Hawaii's first 52 games.

This move makes Hawaii strong favorites for a division title or a wildcard.
