MLDS Game 4 Denver @ Philadelphia

Denver turns to game 1 starter and ERA champ Derek Howe on 3 days rest and Philadelphia goes with Roscoe Savage. Denver scores on a wild pitch in the 1st, and Philadelphia scores on a 2-out Joey Renseller error in the 2nd. It stayed 1-1 until the bottom of the 6th, when Paul White connected for a solo HR. In the 7th, Jimmy Taylor singled home Jerry Ruiz to make it 3-1. Roscoe Savage cruised through 8 innings, going 8-5-1-1-3-6. Dale Jaeger pitches a 1-2-3 perfect 9th to give Philadelphia the 4 game sweep. Philadelphia outplayed Denver in every facet of the game in this series. Jaeger gets the series MVP going 3.2-1-0-0-0-7 with 3 saves in 3 appearances. Denver bats only .191 in the series while Philadelphia bats .345. Philadelphia's team pitching line is 36-25-9-9-11-35.
