Las Vegas in trouble

With 10 games to play, Las Vegas has fallen 4.5 games behind Mars. In a recent 2 game series, Mars won the opener 6-3. In the second game, Kurt Scherman gave Vegas a 1-0 lead, but in the second inning it was rained out. The game will be rescheduled for the final day of the season. Las Vegas had that day off, and Mars will play a doubleheader against Texas on the second to last day to accomodate the makeup game.

After the LV series, Mars won their next 2 against Utah.

Miami won an 18 inning game against Boston, then lost the next 2 games. They hold a 3.5 game lead in the wild card.
