Galactic Baseball Competition
APBA players will compete in the GBC this march, as the league's best players and minor league prospects will divide into 4 groups and compete for the title.
The 4 teams will be:
Team USA: Featuring United States born humans and other mammals. Could be led by Roger Chillingworth, Keith Lee, Jake Cisco, and Lou Zamuda.
Team Beisbol: Featuring earthlings from Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, and other spanish speaking countries. Top players include Luciano Cedeno, Domingo Chavez, and Andre Castillo
Team World: Featuring earthling players from other counties, such as Japan, Europe, Australia, and the Elven lands beyond the sea. The team will feature Joe Young, Dirk Lindros (Canada), Sithas Kawasaki, and Dragomir.
Team Tattoine: Featuring Jawas. This team may prove that Jawas are superior to all others. They will be led by Cy young aces Roger and Pedro Lewis, and feature the games's top hitter in Frank Lewis.

There will also be a team alien. It will include Sunsurf, Rudiger, Chad, Manfred, Jacen Solo, Anakin Solo, Jake Cisco, Adama Dunn, Ricky Buckley and Radicus Prime.
The 5 teams will play each other 4 times. At the end of 16 games, the top 4 teams advance to the semifinals. This will be a best of 5 series, followed by the finalws, also a best of 5. Winner is crowned galactic champion.
The Managers for each team is an allstar cast as well. The top 3 managers in career wins, Big Cheese, Jake Taylor, and Eddie Bird, will manage team Jawa, team USA, and Team Alien.
Juan Alou will manage Team Beisbol, and Slyvanus Wong will manage Team World.
The Jawas have a good group of starters (the Lewis and Lefevre brothers) but will be scrambling for relievers.
Its possible that College closer Troy Lewis, eligible for the 2007 draft, will be the closer for Team Jawa.
Jake Cisco has not determined whether he will suit up for Team USA or Team Alien. Though born in New Orleans, LA, USA, Cisco has many alien born relatives.
