Draft 2011

With about a month and a half to play, the Toledo Mud Hens have the worst record in the Superior League, making them front runners for the draft lottery. The prize this year has emerged in the person of 18 year old Bryce Parkman, the son of former Indians and White Sox slugger Jack Parkman. Like his father, Bryce's arrogance is off the charts, but so is his power.

In 65 games for Jawa City junior college, Parkman hit 38 homerruns and batted .566. He has above average speed, a great arm, and profiles as a right fielder. He is represented by the Ferengi Quark, and may be a tough sign.

3000 hits

Ryne "El jawa" Solo Jr. joined the 3000 hit club with an 8th inning single off Louisville's Ken Bryant on August 11th, 2010. Solo, 41 years old, is still going strong, hitting .307 with a .405 OBP.

In his career he has reached base 4757 times through hits or walks. If possible he would like to continue playing to get to the 5000 times on base mark, a feat accomplished only by 7 MLB players, and only one APBA player, Lou Zamuda.
